To all who read this, I invite you to take a moment of gratitude for the intangible pieces of our existence. Life is but a vapour (James 4:14) and I hope that through my work, that you, the viewer, have the chance to be curious of your own spiritual well-being. I acknowledge that the Creator and Maker of the heavens, the earth, and all things above and below, created me too. Humbly, I recognize my participation to be a witness to the truth of creation.
Have you ever gazed up at the sky and marveled at the captivating spectacle above you? The rapid and incomprehensible changes in sunlight, the remarkable cloud formations, and the unfolding landscape beneath our feet all intrigue me. Each artwork I create focuses on the act of observing. What the eyes see and what the mind perceives can spark memories of the past and foster the imagination. When creating, I concentrate on perspective, composition, form, and light to achieve a pleasing and intellectually stimulating harmonious balance. Like a dream, the visual sensation may be ambiguous, but this grants the sublime to enter the mind's eye to lead to clarity.
My multidisciplinary art practice is a continuous exploration that delves deep into the enigmatic aspects of the world that envelop us. It serves as a profound inquiry into the intricate tapestry of our surroundings, aiming to unravel the complexities that define our existence. Using oil paint on canvas and through glass making, I strive to capture the essence of both the seen and unseen elements that shape our reality, from the minute intricacies of the microcosm to the vast expanses of the macrocosm. I am particularly fascinated by the interplay between light and shadow, the dance of colors, and the ethereal beauty of atmospheric phenomena that often go unnoticed in our daily lives.
